Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time Project Manager to oversee our community energy project, a collaboration involving technology partners and local community energy groups. The successful candidate will coordinate project activities, maintain documentation, and ensure smooth communication between all stakeholders while working primarily remotely. This role is critical to ensuring the project's success and helping communities manage energy in more equitable and smarter ways.

Responsibilities

  • Keep project plans, RAID logs, and action trackers updated.
  • Monitor progress and compile weekly or monthly summaries.
  • Prepare for meetings to facilitate decision-making and action follow-through.
  • Identify risks and proactively support the team in mitigating them.
  • Assist the Programme Lead and partners in staying aligned with project objectives.
  • Ensure all documentation is clear and professional before distribution.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-partner innovation or sustainability projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with effective communication abilities.
  • Proficient in maintaining RAID logs and creating progress reports.
  • Ability to work independently for one day a week and maximize productivity during that time.
  • Experience with Innovate UK, Horizon Europe, or DNO-related projects is preferred.
