Overview
The Performance & QA Engineer will work in a hybrid capacity to define and execute quality assurance and testing strategies that align with infrastructure delivery goals. This role requires close collaboration with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to ensure the reliability and scalability of AWS-based systems. The engineer will focus on developing automated testing frameworks and performance benchmarking tools while integrating QA practices within the AWS infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute QA and testing strategies aligned with infrastructure delivery goals.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and performance benchmarking tools.
- Integrate QA practices within AWS infrastructure delivery, focusing on compliance checks.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to ensure reliability.
- Design and implement performance testing strategies and benchmarking frameworks.
- Conduct API and backend testing using various tools such as Postman and JMeter.
Requirements
- Proven background in AWS with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of performance development testing and automation frameworks.
- Experience with API and backend testing tools like Postman, JMeter, or Locust.
- Ability to design and implement performance testing strategies.
- Solid understanding of QA integration in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code environments.
- Experience with compliance checks related to IAM role validation.
