Overview
We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join a project on a remote, outside IR35 contract for a duration of 6 months. The contractor will work closely with development teams, focusing on delivering high-quality software solutions while adapting to Agile methodologies and collaborating in a dynamic SME environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Symfony.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features.
- Utilize SQL databases for data management and storage.
- Participate in Agile sprints and contribute to planning and retrospectives.
- Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in software development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software engineering with strong proficiency in PHP.
- Solid understanding of Symfony framework for web application development.
- Familiarity with either React or Next.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with SQL database technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of mobile app development using React Native and Expo is a plus.
- Understanding of GraphQL and LLMs is desirable.
