Planner Hinkley Point C Outside IR35 contract Are you a planner from a construction/engineering background, with experience working on large scale projects? Are you commutable to Somerset or happy to live/work away? We currently have a requirement for a contract planner to work on one of the UKs largest live Projects, Hinkley Point C. Working with one of the key delivery partners on the project, they are looking for a proficient planner with a proven track record working on major projects. Experience within the Defence/nuclear sector would be advantageous but not a pre requisite, large scale project experience is a must. They require someone who is happy to attend site regularly with some remote working. Planner Role Requirements You will currently be working as a planner with experience on large scale infrastructure projects. You will join part of a key delivery team on Hinkley Point C, regular site attendance is required so you must be happy to live/work away if you are not commutable to site. As a Planner, you must be comfortable working on your own initiative to strict deadlines and schedules. Experience Of P6 Is Essential. You will need to obtain BPSS (baseline clearance) and must be eligible for this. They are looking for someone who is ideally able to stat within 2/3 weeks. If you are currently working as a planner with experience on large construction projects, this position can offer long term work on an outside IR35 basic, day rate is negotiable depending on skills and experience.   • Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling.
  • Ability to obtain BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance.
  • Willingness to work on-site and potentially live away from home.
  • Availability to start within 2-3 weeks.
