Overview
We are seeking a Platform Engineer (Infrastructure) to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of core IT infrastructure services. In this fully onsite role, you will collaborate with senior engineers and global IT teams to ensure the stability, security, and availability of business-critical systems. The contract is for a temporary position lasting until April 3, 2026, with the possibility of extension, and requires a 40-hour work week in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the operation and maintenance of enterprise infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud services.
- Assist in deploying and integrating new systems and technologies following security and compliance frameworks.
- Provide second and third line technical support for infrastructure incidents and service requests.
- Monitor system performance and contribute to optimization and stability improvements.
- Participate in disaster recovery activities aligned with business continuity requirements.
- Develop technical documentation and manage configuration baselines.
- Collaborate with global IT teams to deliver infrastructure projects and ensure compliance with change management processes.
- Assist with automation of routine tasks using scripting or configuration management tools.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure (Windows, Linux, cloud or hybrid).
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/Debian), VMware, Active Directory, Citrix.
- Understanding of networking principles such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Experience with backup and recovery platforms, preferably Veeam.
- Strong grasp of infrastructure security and compliance frameworks like ISO 27001.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and customer-focused approach.
