Overview
The Senior Platform Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and operating cloud-native platforms within a large-scale enterprise software program. Working closely with engineering teams, the contractor will enhance scalable infrastructure and developer tooling, ensuring highly secure and available environments across major cloud providers. This position focuses on automation, observability, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives, making it crucial for the success of the engineering consultancy's objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate cloud-native platforms.
- Support engineering teams with scalable infrastructure and developer tooling.
- Build secure, highly available environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Contribute to platform automation, observability, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
- Implement security, governance, and cloud best practices.
- Support enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Drive CI/CD, GitOps, and platform automation efforts.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
- Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and platform automation.
- Understanding of security, governance, and cloud best practices.
- Previous work supporting enterprise SaaS platforms is preferred.
- Additional experience with BYOC deployments, platform security, AI infrastructure, or enterprise integrations is a plus.
