Overview
We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer with a solid background in Software Engineering to enhance the platform engineering capabilities of a rapidly growing technology product company. In this role, you will collaborate with a talented team to design and build a modern cloud platform that supports efficient and secure software delivery, while contributing to the overall developer experience and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and platform tooling.
- Support containerized workloads and orchestration platforms.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Drive platform reliability, security, observability, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers to enhance developer experience and productivity.
- Contribute to architectural decisions across cloud, platform, and application delivery.
- Help shape platform engineering best practices within the organization.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer.
- Previous background in Software Engineering (Go, Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar).
- Deep AWS experience across cloud-native architectures.
- Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise.
- Experience working with container technologies and orchestration platforms.
- CI/CD experience using modern automation tooling.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, and reliability principles.
- Experience working within product-led engineering environments.
