Overview
We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineering Lead to spearhead the transformation of engineering practices, specifically focused on building, deploying, and operating software. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple teams, drive the platform engineering strategy, and enhance developer productivity by creating tools, automation, and standards. Your efforts will help modernize the cloud platform and improve software delivery across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Drive the platform engineering strategy and roadmap.
- Build self-service platform capabilities that enhance developer productivity.
- Create robust CI/CD pipelines and deployment standards.
- Embed DevSecOps practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Standardize Infrastructure as Code and cloud engineering practices.
- Improve reliability, observability, and operational resilience.
- Reduce friction among engineering teams to accelerate software delivery.
- Establish secure-by-default patterns for cloud services and integrations.
Requirements
- Strong Azure cloud experience.
- Expertise in CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).
- Experience building internal developer platforms or platform engineering capabilities.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and modern software delivery practices.
- Proven track record of improving engineering velocity, reliability, and developer experience at scale.
- Ability to influence engineering teams and drive technical change.
