Overview
The Platform Security Engineer will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and maintaining secure and scalable hybrid infrastructure. This contract position focuses on building a new security platform using advanced SecOps tooling to enhance visibility and threat detection, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a robust security posture across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy EDR solutions and log aggregation systems.
- Develop automation scripts using Linux Bash and Terraform.
- Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters for security and performance.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate security practices into the DevSecOps process.
- Enhance threat visibility through the use of security tools and analytics.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong proficiency in Linux Bash scripting and Windows Administration.
- Familiarity with security tooling such as Splunk and EDR solutions.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Experience in building and managing secure infrastructures.
- Ability to work in a hybrid cloud environment.
