Overview
The Portfolio Manager will lead the network product portfolio for a large-scale cloud-native platform, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and operational execution. This role will involve collaboration with various teams to manage the lifecycle of network services, aiming for operational stability and continuous improvement. The position supports a major European client and requires occasional travel to Germany, operating in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Network Product Portfolio, including services such as DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
- Define and maintain product roadmaps, lifecycle strategies, and release plans.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, including architecture and engineering.
- Track delivery progress, dependencies, risks, and blockers across multiple teams.
- Ensure release readiness with proper documentation and operational handover.
- Drive Day 2 operational readiness and service stability for all network products.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on automation and performance.
- Provide governance, reporting, and KPI tracking to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Portfolio Lead, Product Manager, or Senior Product Owner in enterprise environments.
- Strong record managing network-focused infrastructure products/services throughout their lifecycle.
- Deep understanding of network technologies, including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and enterprise connectivity.
- Experience working within cloud or hybrid cloud platforms.
- Strong skills in managing product roadmaps, backlogs, and release planning.
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with container platforms and cloud-native environments is desirable.
