Overview
As a Power Platform Developer, you will play a crucial role in delivering solutions for a program within the Insurance sector, collaborating closely with various stakeholders including product managers and UX engineers. Your expertise will be applied in developing, configuring, and supporting applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, ensuring they meet design standards and business needs. This position is well-suited for an individual with a strong background in Power Platform development and an ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and stakeholders to define project requirements and create solutions.
- Design, configure, and develop applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Produce secure and maintainable code that adheres to architectural standards and governance.
- Evaluate design options and participate in design reviews to ensure feasibility and alignment with business outcomes.
- Create and execute tests to verify application functionality and security.
- Prepare release materials and technical documentation for smooth handover to internal teams.
- Identify and resolve defects throughout the development and testing phases.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and SharePoint Online.
- Strong background in designing and building enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and requirements clarification in agile environments.
- Solid understanding of testing practices, including planning and executing test cases.
- Familiarity with integration of Microsoft 365 and handling APIs.
- Capability to create technical documentation and release preparation material.
