Overview
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join an end-user client on a remote contract basis in the UK. The primary focus of this role is to develop financial reports leveraging the NetSuite platform, collaborating closely with finance teams and data engineering personnel to enhance reporting capabilities and promote best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop finance and management reporting dashboards in Power BI.
- Build reporting to support the Standard Costing model and financial analysis.
- Deliver Power BI training to Finance and FP&A teams to enhance report development skills.
- Promote self-service reporting and enable business users in best practices.
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to shape and validate semantic models for scalable reporting.
- Assist with ad hoc analytical projects and reporting enhancements as needed.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in designing and developing Power BI solutions, especially for Finance and FP&A.
- Strong expertise in DAX and data modeling.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in translating business requirements into high-quality reporting solutions.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting concepts and KPIs.
- Experience with SQL and Python for data analysis or automation is desirable.
- Familiarity with NetSuite and its underlying data structures is a plus.
- Knowledge of Standard Costing and experience working with Data Engineering teams is advantageous.
