Overview
In this role as a Principal Artificial Intelligence Engineer, you will lead the development and implementation of AI capabilities for a market-leading SaaS organization. You will work on a greenfield project to build foundational AI architectures, focusing on RAG use cases with plans for more advanced agentic implementations. Collaboration with teams will be key to translating technical solutions into business outcomes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, architecture, and delivery of advanced AI/ML solutions.
- Build and mentor an AI team to enhance AI capability.
- Design robust data ingestion pipelines and integrate vector databases.
- Deploy AI models using cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Establish engineering practices for CI/CD, testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategies into solutions.
- Contribute to the technical enablement of the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AI, ML, or machine learning engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and ML libraries like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- Strong background in deploying models via APIs or cloud services.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing for ML code.
- Familiarity with MCP and RAG patterns.
- Proven ability to deliver production-grade AI solutions in complex environments.
