Overview

As a Procurement Specialist for a major infrastructure enhancement project, you will lead procurement processes across various high-value work packages. Collaborating within a small project team, you will be responsible for the entire procurement lifecycle, from tender design to contract award, ensuring compliance and driving cost efficiency. This role requires proactive engagement with stakeholders and a focus on value creation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver procurement processes across multiple high-value work packages.
  • Produce robust tender documentation and implement effective tender evaluation frameworks.
  • Engage the market to identify and onboard a diverse supply chain, including Tier 2 and 3 suppliers.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders across legal, finance, operations and project delivery.
  • Drive cost efficiency and value creation through innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Operate autonomously, leading procurement from strategy through to contract award.

Requirements

  • Strong experience leading end-to-end project procurement within the private sector, particularly in complex fit-out, aviation, or live operational environments.
  • A network of trusted Tier 2/3 suppliers and contractors, especially in interiors, M&E, or general fit-out.
  • Ability to navigate conflicting priorities and make sound commercial judgments.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and engage at board level.
  • Background in Quantity Surveying or commercial management is advantageous.
