Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Designer to take on a vital role in enhancing our digital offerings, specifically through the development of a forecasting app and dashboard. The contractor will collaborate within a cross-functional team, utilizing their expertise in user experience and interface design to create impactful solutions that bridge our digital and physical customer experiences. This position focuses on driving insights from user data while managing multiple projects effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead design initiatives across the forecasting app and dashboard; manage projects independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct user research, including testing interviews and surveys, to gather insights and optimize user experience.
- Develop and iterate on design solutions using established UX methodologies and heuristics.
- Utilize AI-assisted design tools while ensuring brand, accessibility, and UX standards are met.
- Create prototypes and conduct A/B testing to validate design concepts.
- Convey design decisions clearly to stakeholders, supporting a narrative that articulates the user experience.
- Champion accessibility in all digital products to ensure inclusivity for all users.
- Mentor and guide team members on best design practices and processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a product design role.
- Demonstrated success in delivering multiple projects within product areas, with a strong grasp of the double diamond process.
- Proficient in design tools such as Miro, Adobe CC, and Figma.
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to balance user needs and business objectives.
- Experience in conducting user research and synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to receive and implement feedback effectively and encourage open communication.
