Overview
The Product Owner will be instrumental in guiding the development of new handheld devices for a long-term Telecommunications client. Collaborating closely with SCRUM teams, the Product Owner will manage the backlog, represent Product Managers during SCRUM ceremonies, and work with Project Managers to ensure effective reporting and prioritization of project requirements. This role focuses on balancing the demands of multiple projects within a fast-paced Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and prioritize the product backlog for multiple SCRUM teams.
- Represent Product Managers in SCRUM ceremonies to drive team-focused discussions.
- Work with Project Managers to assist in reporting and addressing project challenges.
- Facilitate the effective management of project demands from various business areas.
- Support the team during Agile sprints, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Coordinate requirements elicitation and development for future product functionalities.
- Define product features using user stories and use cases as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in development across diverse embedded software platforms.
- Experience with Android-based products and mobile technologies including USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation and development processes.
- Ability to define product functionality through user stories or use cases.
- Proficiency in working within a flexible Agile project-based environment.
- Track record of prioritizing demands in a fast-paced setting.
