Overview
The Program Manager will oversee the implementation of a new Target Operating Model and EnergyCAP within a fast-growing, technology-driven utilities context. They will collaborate with various leadership teams and vendors to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining stakeholder alignment and effective communication. This role focuses on transitioning operations from an outsourced model to an in-house data-driven approach to enhance cost control, data quality, and support growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Define structure, governance, RAID, and workstreams to deliver the Target Operating Model and EnergyCAP.
- Collaborate with Utilities, Finance, Data, and Tech leadership to align stakeholders and manage vendors.
- Develop detailed project plans, milestones, and reporting mechanisms to keep the project on track.
- Map and implement new processes to drive adoption and ensure a smooth handover to Business As Usual (BAU).
- Oversee data extraction, cleansing, migration, and validation throughout the implementation.
- Coordinate all testing phases including configuration, user acceptance testing, training, and early-life support.
Requirements
- Proven delivery experience in complex transformation environments without the support of a PMO.
- Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing Target Operating Models, including process mapping and governance.
- Experience with SaaS implementation, particularly EnergyCAP, along with data migration and user training expertise.
- A strong understanding of utilities operations, billing, and data management regulations.
- Familiarity with change management principles, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management.
