Overview

The Program Manager will lead the implementation of a new Target Operating Model (TOM) and EnergyCAP deployment within a dynamic technology-driven utilities environment. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including leadership from Utilities, Finance, Data, and Tech, to ensure smooth transition and delivery of the program. The focus is on enhancing operational efficiency, data quality, and scalability as the organization shifts from external to in-house utilities management.

Responsibilities

  • Define program structure, governance, and workstreams for TOM and EnergyCAP delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project.
  • Develop detailed planning including milestones, critical paths, resourcing, and reporting.
  • Enable process mapping and change management for seamless adoption of new procedures.
  • Oversee data extraction, cleansing, migration, and validation processes.
  • Coordinate testing phases, including UAT, training, and early-life support to ensure successful go-live outcomes.
  • Track key performance indicators and manage risks to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing complex transformations and program delivery.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing Target Operating Models, including process mapping and governance.
  • Background in utilities, energy, or facilities management is advantageous.
  • Experience in SaaS implementations and data migration in operational settings.
  • Strong understanding of utilities operations, billing, and data management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management and change management processes.
  • Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile are preferred.
