Overview
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead a complex divestment programme within the hospitality sector. Reporting to senior leadership, the contractor will coordinate multiple workstreams to ensure effective separation of a business unit, while managing risks and fostering stakeholder engagement. This is a high-visibility role that will require strong leadership and project management skills to navigate a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of the divestment programme from planning through to post-separation stabilisation.
- Lead business separation workstreams alongside IT/systems separation, including ERP, POS, and finance systems.
- Define and manage the programme plan, budget, RAID log, and governance framework.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, external advisors, and technology partners.
- Manage Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs) and dependencies effectively.
- Report progress and risks to steering committees and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure regulatory, commercial, and operational continuity throughout the separation.
Requirements
- Proven track record in delivering divestment, carve-out, or M&A separation programmes.
- Strong background in business and IT/systems separation, particularly in hospitality or retail.
- Experience in managing TSAs, third-party vendors, and complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Demonstrated governance, budgeting, and risk management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at the C-suite level.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
