Overview
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager with a strong background in Aerospace and Aviation to lead the delivery of complex engineering programmes on an initial 12-month contract basis. In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and budget-conscious project execution, while maintaining high-quality standards and balancing commercial and technical objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex engineering programmes within Aerospace and Aviation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.
- Manage programme schedules, budgets, and customer deliverables.
- Act as the focal point for programme execution, monitoring progress and risks.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, influencing decisions at all levels.
- Oversee hardware-led engineering projects and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Facilitate communication across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering complex programmes in highly regulated environments such as Aerospace, Aviation, or Defence.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
- Experience managing programme schedules, budgets, and customer deliverables effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams successfully.
- Knowledge of hardware-led engineering projects, including exposure to electronics, FPGA, PCB, or embedded systems.
- Understanding of challenges in delivering products in regulated industries.
