Overview
The Programme Manager (CRM) will oversee the final phases of a significant project within the housing sector, ensuring its successful completion and launch. The contractor will work closely with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and external partners, focusing on risk management, project delivery status, and effective communication to navigate the complexities of large-scale system implementations. This role involves a hybrid working arrangement, predominantly remote with one day a week in the North West.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly develop a high-level understanding of the programme to enhance core delivery and mitigate project risks.
- Build strong working relationships with steering groups and senior stakeholders to resolve concerns proactively.
- Provide clear assurances to the Project Board regarding delivery status, decisions, and risk impacts.
- Prepare and present Steering Group and Project Board reports in collaboration with suppliers for oversight of project progress.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering accountability and collaboration in dynamic environments.
- Skilled in engaging senior leadership and translating complex technical concepts into business language.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale system implementations, particularly in ERP, CRM, or housing management systems.
- Deep understanding of system architecture, integration points, and data migration challenges with knowledge of regulations like GDPR.
- Expertise in managing third-party vendors and negotiating service-level agreements (SLAs).
