Overview
We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead a significant transformation initiative focused on the migration from Microsoft Office to Google Workspace for a global research company. This role involves overseeing a high-profile end-user transformation and requires collaboration across multiple teams and markets to drive change management and ensure effective stakeholder communication. The position is designed for an experienced professional eager to take ownership of this complex programme and facilitate its execution over a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Own the programme end-to-end and drive the Workspace transformation forward across all phases.
- Oversee a complex migration effort involving end-user tooling and organisational change across multiple teams and geographies.
- Partner with technical and business teams to ensure smooth progression of the programme.
- Act as a credible bridge between teams, translating questions and risks without simply relaying information.
- Drive change management and adoption by guiding stakeholders through the transition journey.
- Manage senior stakeholder communication with clear updates tailored to the executive audience.
- Contribute to discovery and programme shaping by participating in workshops and planning discussions.
- Coordinate across international markets to align priorities and execution efforts.
Requirements
- Professional programme or project management experience with the ability to independently lead significant transformation initiatives.
- Experience supporting large, cross-functional programmes with substantial organisational impact.
- Direct experience with Microsoft to Google Workspace migrations or similar end-user tooling migrations.
- Capability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders and communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
- Strong coordination and delivery skills with a focus on managing dependencies and follow-through.
- Comfortable working regional and international teams, adapting to time zones and local contexts.
- Willingness to engage in hybrid working as necessary for key collaboration sessions.
