Overview

The Programme Manager will lead a complex divestment programme for a hospitality client, overseeing the separation of business units and the associated systems, data, and operational processes. This role will require collaboration with senior leadership, external advisors, and cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition while managing risks and stakeholder relationships. The position is hybrid, allowing for both on-site and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of the divestment programme.
  • Lead business and systems separation workstreams, including ERP, POS, HR, and finance systems.
  • Define and manage the programme plan, budget, RAID log, and governance framework.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, technology partners, and external advisors.
  • Manage Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs) and their dependencies.
  • Report progress and risks to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Ensure regulatory and operational continuity throughout the separation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in delivering divestment, carve-out, or M&A separation programmes.
  • Strong background in business and IT/systems separation.
  • Experience in the hospitality, retail, or multi-site consumer sectors preferred.
  • Confident in managing TSAs and complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Strong governance, risk management, and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with C-suite level stakeholders.
