Overview
The Programme Manager will lead a complex divestment programme for a hospitality client, overseeing the separation of business units and the associated systems, data, and operational processes. This role will require collaboration with senior leadership, external advisors, and cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition while managing risks and stakeholder relationships. The position is hybrid, allowing for both on-site and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end delivery of the divestment programme.
- Lead business and systems separation workstreams, including ERP, POS, HR, and finance systems.
- Define and manage the programme plan, budget, RAID log, and governance framework.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, technology partners, and external advisors.
- Manage Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs) and their dependencies.
- Report progress and risks to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
- Ensure regulatory and operational continuity throughout the separation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering divestment, carve-out, or M&A separation programmes.
- Strong background in business and IT/systems separation.
- Experience in the hospitality, retail, or multi-site consumer sectors preferred.
- Confident in managing TSAs and complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Strong governance, risk management, and budgeting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with C-suite level stakeholders.
