Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to oversee and manage project data for a series of high-profile infrastructure projects. This role involves direct client engagement and collaboration with various teams to ensure accurate reporting and decision-making. The successful candidate will thrive in a hands-on position, providing clarity and assurance to stakeholders through effective communication and data interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project data to deliver updates and assurance to clients.
- Coordinate project control information to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Manage performance reporting primarily using Excel.
- Deliver concise explanations of program status, risks, and forecasts in client-facing settings.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across cost, schedule, and progress tracking.
- Collaborate with commercial, planning, and delivery teams to ensure alignment across project control processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project controls within a contractor environment.
- Confident in client-facing roles, with the ability to communicate technical details clearly.
- Solid understanding of program management and interpretation.
- Highly skilled in Excel, with experience or interest in Power BI.
- Background in major infrastructure projects such as rail, energy, aviation, or highways.
