Overview
We are seeking a Project Controls Manager to provide specialized project controls services on a significant design project within the energy sector. This role will focus on implementing effective controls, forecasting, and reporting to support successful project delivery. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various teams and lead initiatives in planning, cost management, and document control, while being part of an inclusive and diverse working environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop project reporting and forecasting systems to manage budget hours effectively.
- Create and baseline project schedules in alignment with contractual obligations.
- Implement document control processes to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Establish change management controls to safeguard budget and hours.
- Oversee information management systems for optimal data flow.
- Deliver progress reports and assess performance risks early.
- Provide independent leadership and guidance in planning and cost management functions.
- Support the Engineering Management Team on risks and project controls advisory.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project controls and management within the engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of project reporting and budgeting methodologies.
- Experience in developing and managing project schedules.
- Familiarity with document control and change management processes.
- Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and audit processes.
- Experience in preparing documentation for claims and dispute resolutions.
- Understanding of risk identification and management in project delivery.
