Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Controls/Planning Specialist with SC Clearance to support a significant aerospace and defence programme within a multi-national consortium. This hybrid role involves working closely with senior stakeholders to develop and control integrated master schedules and manage complex project delivery. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the alignment between scheduling, risk management, and programme objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules across the programme.
- Apply Critical Path Method (CPM) to identify dependencies and risks.
- Collaborate with senior programme controls and delivery stakeholders.
- Identify and manage assumptions, dependencies, and exclusions (ADEs).
- Produce schedule performance reporting for senior leadership.
- Support proactive schedule optimisation and conflict resolution across workstreams.
- Ensure alignment between schedule, risk, and programme delivery objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Project Controls/Planning on large defence or aerospace programmes.
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 (certification preferred).
- Experience within MOD or regulated aerospace environments.
- Deep understanding of programme scheduling and critical path analysis.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across diverse audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in international delivery settings.
