Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support telecoms and networking projects throughout Scotland. This remote role involves close collaboration with project managers in planning, implementing, and delivering technical projects, ensuring successful integration and functioning within telecom environments. Candidates should possess strong technical prowess and be available for occasional travel across the region as project needs arise.
Responsibilities
- Support technical project delivery across Scotland.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Complete site surveys and project handovers.
- Support installation and commissioning activities.
- Assist with technical fault resolution and customer meetings.
- Produce RAMS, POWRA, and other health and safety documentation.
Requirements
- Strong technical project engineering background.
- IP networking knowledge, ideally at CCNA level.
- Experience with WAN, LAN, and MPLS.
- Familiarity with routing, switching, and data networking.
- Experience with Nokia SAR-H and Nokia NFM-P.
- Knowledge of XTran technology.
- Experience in router, switch, and firewall configuration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Visio for network diagrams.
