The Project Lead will oversee critical projects within the manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory expectations. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive process improvements and manage project execution. The Project Lead will be instrumental in problem-solving and operational support while enhancing customer and supplier relationships through effective communication and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evaluate processes to improve workflows, operating procedures, and control documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to meet technical project specifications.
  • Support investigations of non-conformance reports using established problem-solving methodologies.
  • Lead project planning, execution, and closure, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Participate in weekly and monthly reviews, managing project risks effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives in manufacturing processes.
  • Represent management in customer meetings, discussing operational KPIs and improvements.
  • Utilize QC tools and SPC techniques for data collection and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Experience with quality standards such as AS9100, OSHAS, and ISO certification processes.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality compliance.
  • Green Belt certification in a quality initiative is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Experience in lean management and 5S practices.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites and service providers as required.
