Overview

The PMO Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing a large, complex offshore wind project as part of the Senior Management Team. This senior leadership position involves collaborating closely with the Project Leadership Team to ensure effective project governance, performance measurement, and alignment with strategic objectives throughout various project phases. The PMO Manager will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team and driving project excellence in governance and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead project governance structures, processes, and systems.
  • Manage and develop a multidisciplinary PMO team including analysts, planners, and document controllers.
  • Oversee project controls related to planning, cost, risk, change, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement dashboards and performance tracking tools.
  • Ensure effective document control systems are in place and functioning.
  • Lead change control processes and conduct project assurance reviews.
  • Coordinate with risk, cost, and interface management functions.
  • Drive continuous improvement and promote knowledge sharing across the project.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a PMO Manager on large-scale infrastructure or offshore wind projects.
  • Strong background in cost management, scheduling, risk analysis, and change control.
  • Experience in project assurance and governance.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Primavera P6 and Primavera Risk Analysis; familiarity with EDMS.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Power BI experience is desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on team management.
