Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a Workforce Management implementation within the UK utilities sector. This role involves leading complex projects, engaging with various stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in project management, particularly within workforce management and the water sector, and will be adept in both on-site and remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Workforce Management projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical, operational, and business stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
  • Support testing, validation, and post-implementation review activities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the project team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager, ideally within the UK utilities sector.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering at least one Workforce Management implementation.
  • Familiarity with asset management or asset information systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in hybrid project environments (on-site and remote).
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to start immediately.
