Overview
The role of Project Manager - DV cleared involves leading complex IT infrastructure projects within a secure MOD environment. The position offers a hybrid working model, blending on-site responsibilities in Corsham with remote work, while focusing on the successful delivery of system migration initiatives and infrastructure deployment. The contractor will work closely with technical teams and senior Defence stakeholders to ensure projects meet MOD standards and governance.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of system migration projects.
- Coordinate activities related to data centre build and infrastructure implementation.
- Manage project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, suppliers, and senior Defence stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with MOD standards and governance.
- Facilitate project meetings, progress updates, and decision-making forums.
Requirements
- Current DV (Developed Vetting) clearance.
- Demonstrable experience in Project Management for complex IT infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience managing system migrations.
- Exposure to data centre build, relocation, or infrastructure deployment projects.
- Previous experience in the MOD or wider Defence sector.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with structured project delivery methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, MSP or similar).
