Overview
The Project Manager will lead a complex global user migration workstream for a major transformation programme at a global industrial technology firm, focusing on the migration of approximately 4,000 users. Collaborating closely with application and data migration leads, as well as an external systems integrator, the contractor will develop and implement migration strategies while managing stakeholder relationships across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead the global end user migration workstream across multiple geographies.
- Build the approach for migrating users, devices, and collaboration tooling.
- Coordinate cutover planning across sites, personas, and user groups.
- Align dependencies with application and data migration teams.
- Manage delivery with internal stakeholders and an external SI partner.
- Bring structure to a fast-moving programme and drive independent decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering global end user migration programmes.
- Strong project management background in device, user, and workplace migrations.
- Experience in large-scale Windows rollouts, M365/cloud migrations, or similar end user transformation programmes.
- Ability to operate independently and shape the delivery approach rather than merely track actions.
- Carve-out/separation experience is helpful but not essential.
