Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager for a contract role to oversee a critical customer migration programme within a leading payments organization. This position will focus primarily on the final wave of migration, working with diverse customers requiring complex connectivity solutions. The Project Manager will collaborate across various teams while managing stakeholder relationships to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the final migration wave involving complex connectivity solutions.
- Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to align business and technical deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal and external migration stakeholders to manage dependencies and activities.
- Identify and address product gaps ahead of customer migration.
- Define and manage scope, milestones, risks, and dependencies for migration projects.
- Produce and maintain project plans, RAID logs, and status reports for project tracking.
- Build relationships and manage stakeholder engagement across various levels.
- Drive quality assurance and operational readiness for migration activities.
Requirements
- Proven Project Management experience within Payments, FinTech, Banking, or Financial Services.
- Experience with customer migration and integration programmes.
- Experience in managing connectivity solutions including API, Host-to-Host, and SWIFT integrations.
- Ability to manage dependencies and mitigate risks across multiple workstreams.
- Strong reporting, governance, and project controls experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with project governance and escalation processes.
