Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager specializing in Cyber Compliance to lead a critical initiative supporting a global organization in meeting the Cyber Resilience Act deadline. The contractor will work closely with teams, including software engineers and senior leadership, to ensure timely delivery of required security measures and subsequent remediation efforts. This is a remote position, with initial project kickoff occurring in the West Midlands.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and execution of compliance projects related to the Cyber Resilience Act.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure effective communication of security requirements.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including risks and challenges to senior leadership.
- Facilitate the implementation of security patching and reporting to meet EU deadlines.
- Guide the transition to remediation work following the discovery phase findings.
- Ensure compliance standards are understood and adhered to across the project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing compliance and regulatory projects, particularly in the cybersecurity domain.
- Strong understanding of application security issues and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the Cyber Resilience Act and related regulations.
- Experience in remote project management and virtual team collaboration.
