Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day performance and delivery of design consultants for a six-month contract role, primarily working in Manchester with an expected in-office presence twice a week. The role focuses on ensuring design activities meet programme, quality, and budget requirements while facilitating the successful delivery of project milestones and approvals.
Responsibilities
- Manage the performance and delivery of design consultants.
- Oversee the development of outline and detailed design phases.
- Coordinate procurement activities and prepare tender documentation.
- Monitor project performance through effective governance and risk management.
- Provide regular progress reporting to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external organisations.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design consultants on complex projects.
- Demonstrable experience delivering projects through outline and detailed design.
