Overview

The Interim Project Manager for Finance Transformation will oversee a portfolio of significant change initiatives aimed at revamping the finance function within a private equity-backed organization. Working closely with various stakeholders, the contractor will drive business change, establish new operating models, and ensure successful implementation of standardized processes without focusing on ERP system delivery. This role is critical in delivering organizational change and managing senior-level stakeholder expectations throughout a major finance transformation program.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple finance transformation workstreams.
  • Drive finance operating model and process changes.
  • Support finance centralization and standardization initiatives.
  • Deliver organizational change, communications, training, and business readiness.
  • Manage senior stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.
  • Provide updates and recommendations to Executive and Board-level stakeholders.
  • Facilitate transformation efforts across an international multi-entity organization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering complex finance transformation programs.
  • Strong track record of leading organizational change within finance functions.
  • Experience with finance operating model transformation, shared services, or finance centralization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with credibility at Executive and Board level.
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness.
  • Experience working alongside ERP programs is advantageous, but not a core requirement.
