Overview
As a Project Manager for the Claims Transformation Programme, you will lead the initiative to modernize claims capabilities, enhancing systems, processes, and technologies. Working with a cross-functional team of stakeholders across various departments, you will ensure the seamless execution of the programme's objectives, which include the implementation of new technologies and process optimization. This role requires active collaboration with teams in different time zones to drive the project's success.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the critical paths of key workstreams within the Claims Transformation Programme.
- Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and governance structures.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring deliverables meet quality and compliance standards.
- Coordinating communication between external contractors, internal SMEs, and leadership.
- Manage delivery across Claims technology and process workstreams.
- Act as an interface between the organization and multiple third-party delivery partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and vendors.
- Ensure successful closure of projects and handover to Business As Usual (BAU) processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in project management within the insurance sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience in technology project delivery, working with vendors and partners.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in managing and coordinating resources across multiple time zones.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Experience in implementing business and process changes, including agile methodologies.
