Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Project Manager for a 3-month contract, with the opportunity for extensions. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a key data initiative for a well-known retail brand, acting as a liaison between senior stakeholders and an external data delivery partner to enhance the business's use of customer and commercial data.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of data-focused projects across the business.
- Manage and challenge a third-party data partner to ensure successful delivery.
- Work closely with senior business stakeholders to understand priorities and requirements.
- Improve how business data is governed, accessed, and consumed.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams and keep projects on track.
- Drive clear communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience within the retail industry.
- Experience delivering data-focused projects or programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leadership.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers or delivery partners.
- Ability to understand data concepts and communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
