Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the Data Migration workstream for the implementation of a Student System at a Higher Education provider. The role entails significant stakeholder engagement, acting as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, and managing the deployment and cutover planning of the project. This position is essential for ensuring the successful migration of data and is expected to have a strong background in student systems management, ideally with experience in systems like Banner.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Data Migration workstream for a Student System implementation.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure clear communication between technical and non-technical teams.
- Coordinate the deployment and cutover planning for large-scale programmes in Higher Education.
- Lead project planning efforts, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Monitor and report on project progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate onboarding and training for team members involved in the migration process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in data migration within a university setting.
- Strong knowledge of Student Systems, with preferred experience in Banner or other major SRS.
- Experience with deployment and cutover planning for large-scale programmes in Higher Education.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
- Solid organizational and leadership capabilities to drive project success.
