Overview
The Project Manager will lead a critical Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program, focusing on driving significant business change and implementing new data governance strategies using Microsoft Purview. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including senior leadership, the contractor will manage the end-to-end delivery of the project, ensuring effective communication and adoption of new policies across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the DLP program from planning to rollout.
- Utilize data and insights from Purview to shape a targeted change and communications strategy.
- Identify stakeholder impacts and drive engagement across all levels.
- Collaborate with communications teams to deliver effective messaging.
- Roll out classification, labeling, and DLP policies across M365.
- Ensure smooth adoption of new controls on data usage, email, and mobile applications.
- Maintain strong governance and alignment with data protection standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on business change delivery.
- Background in data security, compliance, or related transformation programs.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and gain buy-in.
- Experience in implementing data classification and usage controls.
- Solid understanding of M365 environments and capabilities.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business impact messaging.
