Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead a significant Data Loss Prevention (DLP) programme within an esteemed organization. This role focuses on driving substantial business transformation through the implementation of Microsoft Purview for document and email classification, along with enhanced control measures for mobile applications and end-user devices. The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders at all levels to ensure the effective adoption of new data usage policies, while maintaining governance and alignment with data protection standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Data Loss Prevention programme from planning to rollout.
- Utilize data and insights from Microsoft Purview to inform a targeted change and communication strategy.
- Identify stakeholder impacts and engage with individuals across all levels including senior leadership.
- Oversee the rollout of classification, labeling, and DLP policies within M365, starting with email and progressing to mobile and endpoints.
- Collaborate with communications teams to develop and disseminate clear messaging regarding changes.
- Facilitate smooth adoption of new data controls on email usage and mobile applications.
- Maintain robust governance in accordance with data protection standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on business change initiatives.
- Background in data security, compliance, or related transformation programs.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and secure buy-in.
- Experience implementing changes related to data classification, retention, or usage controls.
- Solid understanding of M365 environments.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into impactful business messaging.
