Overview
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Project Manager to oversee important cloud transformation and migration projects for a growing enterprise organization. In this fully remote position, the contractor will collaborate with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, adhering to timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing cloud projects and a proven track record with public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud migration and transformation projects.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources.
- Coordinate between internal teams, third-party vendors, and cloud technology partners.
- Drive project governance and stakeholder communications at all levels.
- Facilitate project planning workshops, sprint reviews, and status meetings.
- Ensure execution of cloud adoption strategies and migration roadmaps.
- Track project milestones and proactively resolve delivery issues.
- Produce and maintain project documentation, including plans and reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering cloud-based projects.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies and migration methodologies.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and technical teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including senior leadership engagement.
- Experience in managing project budgets, risks, and vendor relations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
