Overview
This Project Manager role is part of an innovative Research and Development team focused on advancing product development within the rail technology sector. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid capacity, leading cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and budget-conscious delivery of significant projects, while collaborating with various stakeholders to align project outcomes with business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects that maximize product value.
- Coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Collaborate closely with program managers, technical authorities, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure project outcomes meet business requirements and customer expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and practices.
- Report on project progress and performance to management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a technical or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with the rail industry is a plus.
- Relevant project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
