This Project Manager role is part of an innovative Research and Development team focused on advancing product development within the rail technology sector. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid capacity, leading cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and budget-conscious delivery of significant projects, while collaborating with various stakeholders to align project outcomes with business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects that maximize product value.
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Collaborate closely with program managers, technical authorities, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure project outcomes meet business requirements and customer expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and practices.
  • Report on project progress and performance to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with the rail industry is a plus.
  • Relevant project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
