Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a significant Building and Civil project in the rail sector. The successful candidate will work closely with diverse stakeholders and site management teams to ensure the effective delivery of the project, maintaining budget and timelines. This is a site-based position within a respected main contractor known for its exciting projects across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall project lifecycle from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with site management teams and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee client communications, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Ensure effective management of project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Facilitate design changes and manage the technical query process.
- Lead and mentor project teams to foster collaboration and communication.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Project Manager on Building and Civil projects, particularly in the rail industry.
- Proven ability to work in live rail environments.
- Strong experience in client liaison and communication throughout project phases.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of effective team collaboration.
