Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Change Project Manager to lead a significant Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) technology implementation initiative. This role involves collaboration with senior stakeholders and driving the vendor selection process, establishing project governance, and ensuring the successful delivery of a critical HSE platform. The Project Manager will focus on managing project timelines, risks, and budgets, while also aligning operational requirements with technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the implementation of a Health, Safety and Environment technology platform.
- Drive the vendor selection process including RFI and RFP stages.
- Establish project governance frameworks and maintain project plans.
- Manage risks, budgets, and timelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Ensure stakeholder adoption and manage change throughout the project delivery.
- Facilitate workshops and communicate project updates to executives.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal delivery teams for effective execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT transformation and software implementation projects.
- Experience managing projects through RFI, RFP, and vendor evaluation processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.
- Familiarity with project delivery methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Ability to develop and maintain project documentation like RAID logs and executive reports.
- Experience in Health & Safety, HSE, EHS, Compliance, Risk, or Operational systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills.
- Ability to work across multiple business functions to manage priorities effectively.
