Overview
The Public Sector Grant Assessor & Moderation Associate will engage in grant assessment operations, primarily focusing on evaluating applications for public sector funding. Working remotely, the associate will contribute their expertise in areas such as moderation, feedback quality assurance, and risk assessment, collaborating with a team to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the assessment process. This role will involve intermittent assignments based on application volumes and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Review grant applications against defined criteria.
- Produce clear, evidence-based scoring rationales.
- Assess credibility, value for money, and measurable outcomes of proposals.
- Support consensus scoring and moderation processes.
- Review feedback for clarity and neutrality.
- Maintain quality assurance logs and action trackers.
- Participate in calibration meetings and close-out activities.
