Overview
We are seeking two experienced Microsoft Purview / Data Labelling Solution Architects for an initial 6-month contract, focused on transforming data governance and security practices within a major international consumer products organisation. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including Security, Compliance, and Legal teams, to architect and implement Microsoft Purview solutions that enhance the organisation’s ability to manage sensitive information effectively across Microsoft 365. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence enterprise data governance strategy in a highly regulated global environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and implementation of Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) and Sensitivity Labelling across Microsoft 365.
- Design enterprise-wide data classification frameworks, labelling taxonomies and governance models.
- Implement Microsoft Purview capabilities including Information Protection, Sensitivity Labels, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
- Assess existing data landscapes and develop strategic roadmaps for Purview adoption.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify sensitive information and define appropriate protection controls.
- Provide architectural leadership and best practice guidance during the migration to Microsoft Purview.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate security requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and delivering Microsoft Purview solutions in large enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), and Microsoft 365 Security.
- Experience in designing data governance and information protection strategies.
- Ability to manage and engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Experience with complex transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Compliance Centre and broader Microsoft Security ecosystem is desirable.
- Relevant Microsoft Security or Purview certifications are a plus.
