Overview
We are looking for a Python Full Stack Engineer with a focus on geospatial technologies to join a groundbreaking program centered on innovative software development and nature recovery initiatives. As an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with various specialists and leverage AI tools to enhance project outcomes. This remote position involves occasional travel to offices in Leeds, Manchester, or London, offering the opportunity to contribute to sustainable solutions in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications for geospatial data processing.
- Collaborate with team members including BAs, Designers, and Researchers.
- Utilize AI tools to streamline development processes and improve results.
- Implement programmatic spatial analysis and automated geoprocessing techniques.
- Ensure effective communication with clients regarding project status and updates.
- Work with tools such as GeoPandas and GDAL/OGR for data management tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in full stack development, particularly using Python.
- Strong expertise in geospatial data processing and analysis.
- Familiarity with libraries like GeoPandas or GDAL/OGR.
- Proficient in using Docker for application deployment.
- Basic knowledge of Node.js is a plus.
- Interest in AI tools and technologies related to software development is advantageous.
