Overview
The QA Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring code quality for a regulated platform relied upon by thousands. This contract position involves building and maintaining automated test suites using Playwright and Cypress, integrating tests into CI pipelines, and collaborating with engineers to establish a strong quality culture within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated test suites with Playwright and Cypress.
- Integrate tests into Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines to ensure quality on every change.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to incorporate testing from the beginning of development.
- Establish and uphold high quality standards across the programming environment.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools for efficient test authoring and increased coverage.
- Conduct accessibility testing as required.
Requirements
- Experience with Playwright and Cypress for test automation.
- Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Demonstrated experience running automated tests in CI pipelines.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to potential points of failure.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools.
- Experience in regulated environments is a plus.
