Overview
The QA Automation Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability of a regulated platform by implementing automated testing strategies using Playwright and Cypress. The contractor will collaborate closely with engineering teams to integrate quality assurance practices throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring that potential issues are identified early in the process. This position will contribute to setting high-quality standards across the organization and utilize advanced tools to enhance the testing experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and Cypress.
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration (CI) pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineers to incorporate testing from the start of the development process.
- Establish and uphold quality standards across the program.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance test authoring and improve coverage.
- Conduct thorough evaluations for potential accessibility issues.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Playwright and Cypress for automated testing.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with automated testing within CI environments.
- Attention to detail with a focus on identifying failures in code.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools.
- Experience in accessibility testing is a plus.
